The CAMeC organises initiatives for the promotion of modern and contemporary art and of its collections, creating a constant interaction with the town. It also to make the Museum building available not only as an exhibition area but also as a meeting point for organising conferences, debates, conventions, concerts, all of which must respect the nature of this cultural institution.
The Centre offers the chance to request the use of its rooms and terraces, which can be granted either free or with payment, for events and initiatives which comply with the Museum’s mission or which are part of initiatives involving the general interests of the territory.
All the areas of the Museum are accessible to the disabled.
The bookshop, situated at the entrance of the Centre, is mainly dedicated to publications on contemporary arts. Besides catalogues, essays, monographs, magazines and educational publications, the bookshop proposes artist’s multiples, posters, gadgets, art gifts and fancy goods.
