The CAMeC Museum offers a truly immersive experience through its Permanent Collection.<\/strong><\/p>\n The new display creates a dynamic interaction between artworks, space, and visitors, crafting pathways that highlight both the richness of the collection and the connection between art and the contemporary world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Curated by Gerhard Wolf<\/strong> and displayed across the ground and first floors, the current display features over 200 works<\/strong> which have been arranged beyond the standard museum conventions. Some rooms display series of works, while others juxtapose different styles, such as geometric and organic abstraction. The artworks are organised according to different themes<\/strong>, including body and performance<\/strong>, architecture<\/strong>, ecology<\/strong>, Pop Art<\/strong>, and the 1980s<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The museum also dedicates specific spaces to the city of La Spezia and its history, with “niches” highlighting important events such as the “II Gabbiano” Gallery<\/strong> and the Battolini collection<\/strong>, one of the CAMeC’s most significant assets.
